Massive Love Hurricane Relief Project Brings Tangible and Emotional Support to San Andres and Providence

San Andres Island & Providence have recently been ravaged by Hurricane Iota. You may not be familiar with these islands or the tragedy that they faced because of their size.

Unfortunately, the category five hurricane left thousands of families homeless and in desperate need of water. This tragedy hit the Colombian owned islands while they were recovering from the effects of hurricane Eta, which impacted the island less than 14 days before.

TFG owners Yannick and her husband Eddy “DJ Mr. E” Jackson are on a mission to secure assistance for the individuals suffering on these islands. Through the Massive Love Hurricane Relief Project, the couple was able to secure significant assistance for islands who were negatively impacted by hurricane Irma and Maria. They are again gearing up to offer needed help to San Andres and Providence.

Truth be told, many islanders have never experienced a hurricane of this magnitude. They normally experience categories 2 to 3. Yannick and DJ Mr. E are concerned about the number of evacuees from Providence to San Andres Island who are going to experience PTSD.

Yannick and her team of experts at TFG are committed to providing emotional and mental health support to those who have been impacted by the hurricane. The team at TFG has successfully offered emotional and mental health support to a wide range of clients including athletes, entrepreneurs, and students. This wealth of experience will help islanders to recover from the mental health effects of the disaster.

To raise further awareness and get others to donate to this cause, TFG will be hosting several virtual events. The first event will be held on December 5, 2020. A portion of the proceeds from DJ Mr. E and Salua Jackson’s new song titled “I Don’t Know” will also go to the Massive Love Project for the islands.

So far, TFG has partnered with companies to house ‘Love Tanks’ for people to donate items. There is also a link on TFG’s website for individuals to donate to the Massive Love Hurricane Relief Project. Additionally, every time someone buys a product from TFG, a portion of the proceeds will go towards care packages for those in need. The care packages include inspirational books, hygiene items, clothing, food, and water.

This project is near to the hearts of Yannick and Eddy. Mr. E is actually from San Andres.

While 60% of San Andres was left without light and experience significant damage, Providence, which is a neighboring island experienced extensive damage on 95% of the island.

Our brothers and sisters need our help. TFG and its partners are pledging to do all they can to assist those affected. You are invited to join. Your donation does not have to be huge, even the smallest contribution, given from a heart of love and sacrifice will be a blessing to someone in need.

If you would like to make a donation to the Massive Love Hurricane Relief Project, please click here. Also, as more information becomes available about the virtual events to raise awareness and garner more support, please tune in and spread the word.

When all is said and done, we need each other.
